If your organization is a 501(c)(3) operating in Forsyth, Guilford, Davidson, Davie, Alamance, Rockingham, Randolph, Stokes, Surry, Yadkin, Caswell, or Montgomery County, you may already be listed on give GroundUp. Here is what that means, plainly.

Donations never pass through us

Gifts go directly through your website or whatever channel you already use. We never touch the money and never take a fee.

It is free, always

Free for nonprofits and free for donors. That is a founding commitment, not a promotional period, and there is no paid placement.

We do not rate or rank organizations

Rating systems can only rate organizations with the staff capacity to produce ratable data, which is why so many small nonprofits are invisible to them. Donors on give GroundUp see what is verified, how current it is, and what you say about yourself. The judgment stays with the person giving.

Your profile asked nothing of you

It was built from public IRS and web data, so it did not add to your plate. You can correct it, claim it, or ask us to remove it. One email and it is gone, no hard feelings. This only works if it works for you.

The smallest organizations surface first

Our matching deliberately weights toward the organizations donors most often miss, and it tells donors why. Every match comes with a plain explanation of why it surfaced, how far away you are, and what is verified about you.
